Devizes Show 2011 (A VBCW Border Raid)

The Scottish force advances into the English village...

As the Scottish vehicles advance to the English stores the lead van gets taken out by massed infantry fire...


The English regulars turn up to help repell the Scottish raiders.


The English LDV take cover behind buildings as they see their FT-17 taken out by Scottish armour.


A Scots LDV unit decide not to rush the building as its opened up on by a Vickers and two 2" mortars, from their own side...


The Matilda I gets taken out by English regulars.

We ran out of time in the end but it ended up being a close fought battle wich either side could of won within the next couple of turns...

For the Very British Civil War one must have a very British village...

VBCW Regulars

A Very British Civil War is set in the late 1930's where the country is split due to the king not abdicating when he married Mrs Simpson and Mosley is made prime minister...

I've left these figures glossy to try and add to the feel of the 30's. To me they look like a good cross between modern figure painting and the old 1930's lead soldiers style of painting.
