Bovington Show VBCW Battle 2011

The royalist right wing decides its a dangerous place to be leaving the battalion command on its own...


A badly aimed royalist artillery artillery shot takes out an Albertine tank (it was aiming for the vickers hmg!)

After the royalist plane fired on the Albertines Scottish battalion (killing two), the Scots retaliated on-mass with the above result...


The Albertine regulars take the royalist right wing.


The Albertine forces flood round to the royalist's lost right flank...

Time ran out but it was agreed that the Albertines had won a good victory. It was a great day and a great battle. It was also the first time I was able to use my complete Albertine force together...

Devizes Show 2011 (A VBCW Border Raid)

As the Scottish vehicles advance to the English stores the lead van gets taken out by massed infantry fire...


The English regulars turn up to help repell the Scottish raiders.


The English LDV take cover behind buildings as they see their FT-17 taken out by Scottish armour.


A Scots LDV unit decide not to rush the building as its opened up on by a Vickers and two 2" mortars, from their own side...


The Matilda I gets taken out by English regulars.

We ran out of time in the end but it ended up being a close fought battle wich either side could of won within the next couple of turns...
